    Found a problem

It looks like I failed to report that the balance lead going to the damaged cell may have had a poor crimped connection. I guess the bms may have been confused on the voltage.

wanting to purchase a small wind turbine

Thank you, you were very coherent in explaining yourself. It might be better for me to spend the money on candles or lamp oil. rather than spend it on the snake oil wind turbine

wanting to purchase a small wind turbine

You might think I am crazy, but my wind turbine intent is only for extreme circumstances. like for some reason we go into a new ice age, polar shift or some crazy reason I am still alive with little sun and have not lost my wind turbine, batteries and lightbulbs I will still be able to see in...

wanting to purchase a small wind turbine

I am trying to learn about wind turbines and make a purchase of $300 or less. I would like to get the best bang for my buck. I already have some things I might be able to use like solar charge controllers and other electrical supplies that I have purchased and have not yet put into use. I would...

The same charger. Epever Tracer4215BN and same brand of BMS Daly that I use on 4 other battery packs. These 2 Shenzhen basen technology cells packs do not seem to ballance correctly I will be measuring internal resistances in a few days.

    Found a problem

I found this to be interesting. Introduction In the past few years, electric vehicles using ternary lithium batteries have experienced fire and explosion many times. Therefore, the lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4, LFP) battery, which has relatively few negative news, has been labeled as...

    Found a problem

The clamps had wood between them when they were installed. I will inspect more when I come home this evening. I looked to see if the clamps were causing any deformation when I installed them but I seen none. I will look tonight. Charge controller Epever and Daly bms

Why did it not vent at the top? This happened very fast

    Found a problem

It had to be internal short if it was not caused from short of negative post to case. I did wonder if the volts and amps were to low between the 2 to cause that. I did read were this has happened to someone in there van battery box. Has this happened with other battery brands as well?

    Found a problem

I think I might know what may have happened please confirm if this is likely. The aluminum casing on the cells is positive which I did not know and I had the BMS connected when I was moving it and may have touched the negative wire against that cells casing

    Found a problem

I think the battery was reading 26v from negative to positive but sometimes on the other side of BMS it was reading 19v. That is so weird.
