Received return shipping lable and shipped the AC200Max back. Waiting on a full refund now. Back to the drawing board. Have to do something with the panels I have installed.

Thank you. There are two panel in series. No load power consumption is <50W. I'm looking through the EG4 battery manual and not seeing anything about mounting orientation. Wondering if I can stand it on end and secure it to a wall so its foot print is less.

It took a 3-4 days to get a response. Once the ball was rolling the RMA went smooth.

Honestly, I like liked the Bluettie because of its mobility and was just looking at ways of possibly retaining mobility as an option. Albeit a not very good option in this case due to size and weight. Your right, I do not need a 3k inverter. Just not seeing other all in ones that have 2k...

Nope, utility room at 65F. It was brought into the garage when it started smoking.

Central MN. Yeah it doesn't get to high right now. Having a loop of service cable doesn't affect it, does it? Usually no with anything but antennas.

I have not. How is that accomplished?

Found that Growatt makes a MIC 2000TLX and MPP makes a 2024LV-MK.

Going with a couple 390w split face pannels. Gives me head room so I don't have to worry about letting the magic smoke out. Thank you everyone for all your help.
  • Post in thread: VOC panneling question

I have searched the forums and ran across a couple Bluetti threads with similar questions but different enough that they don't give me the answers I'm looking for. Worried about the VOC in this setup. Is there a way around it besides removing a pannel or going with a different one? Bluetti...

Sorry, its 15A. Listed as input limit. Solar input: 900W (10-145), MAX 15A. https://www.bluettipower.com/products/ac200max-power-station

Just got my solar setup going and want to make sure I am understanding things correctly. I have 2 390w panels in series running to a Bluetti AC200MAX solar generator. URECO solar panel specs: Model - D7K390H8A Pmax - 390w VOC - 48.53v ISC - 10.16a Vmpp - 40.39v Impp - 9.66a The Bluetti charge...

Manual says it will take 10v-145v so that shouldn't be an issue. Thank you!

Got ahold of Buetti support. Warranty claims are handled in China and that it will take a few days for it to process. Well isn't that just !#$@^@$%^&@$% special. Let the games begin.

I thought about 2S2P but I would be at 630w and 17a which would surpass the 15 amp limit. Would I just put an inline 15a fuse at the parallel connector and just expect to replace it if and when it pops? The supplier I will be using also has some Ureco panels I'm waiting to get the exact details on.

No my mistake as far as I can tell. Went in to move power from a small freezer over to the ac200max and the ac200max started smoking. No fan came on it just started smoking. A significant amount that it looked like it was going into melt down. The freezer draws 750w max on startup and 70w...
  • Post in thread: Build list changes or recommendations before I order

Can you guys recommend changes to my build list before I order anything? I had a Bluetti AC200Max that let the smoke out and I need to use the panels I have installed. This setup is just ment to run freezers and recharge electronics when the power is out. Roughly 2.1kw/day. Already have the...

I noticed on a good winter sunny day it only makes 1.5- 3A when I was testing the connectors before I got the generator. I assume spring/summer will show drastically more.

Facing south. Wired in series. with about 110ft of 10ga solar cable. If my angle calculation is correct they are at 23degrees.
  • Post in thread: Does this seem right to you?

I need longer 2x4's so I can increase the angle for the rest of the year.

I have 2 of those panels. Thinking of making a 2 wheel dolly setup like this. Using this stuff. Growatt 24V SPF-3000TL-LVM 3,000W 120V Stackable Inverter | 2kW MPPT Charge Controller or PIP LV2424 MSD 24V 2.4kW 24V 200AH LiFePower4 Battery by EG4 Thoughts?
