I think most electricians on here are not concerned about him smoking his system but, when you have a child getting shocked, it’s a whole other level.
OP could easily over look a critical piece of information that will make it impossible to troubleshoot correctly. Safety for him and his family...
Diagram #10 shows grounds from the inverters going to nothing in the transfer switch. I figure it is a drawing error as there is no need to run ground from inverters.
I haven’t measured both but, a16s 280ah diy would give you 14kWh and cost less. You may not be worried about cost and the rack batteries would look good.
I am an industrial electrician so, tools and experience is a check. As for time, well I got to be doing something. A 16S gives me 14-15kWh for about $2000 compared to 5.12kWh at $1600.
I bought panel’s according to the recommended configuration in the manual. I found out that their configuration only works if you live in the tropics. I think your idea of using EG4 MPPT charge controllers will allow me to utilize all my panels.
I purchased a MPP LV6548 and 24 325W panels to get maximum wattage. When I figure VOC for my low temp I go over max voltage (297.6V). I calculated the suggested panels they use in the manual, they also go over max voltage (278.7V). Maybe I am missing something. Do I drop to 5S2P instead of 6S2P...
