Can anyone share their experience of using their PowerPro during winter in a location that is not heated? I'm considering installing one into a shed, but I'm in WI where temps do go below 0 for a week or two on occasion.
I understand the battery can heat itself but there are not many real...
Yes, I believe it's 223W. I'm just debating whether I keep the battery and inverter in my basement or out in my shed. The insulation cabinet would be the first thing I'd add for cold.
Hello,
I'm working with a solar installer to get an 18k PV and PowerPro installed. The solar installer has put together a plan that was approved by the utility. The plan includes replacing my existing pedestal with a new pedestal that has two outputs on each side in order to get the split...
Hello,
I'm considering building a shed to house my EG4 18k PV inverter and PowerPro as well as use the roof for some additional solar panels. Is there any guidance as to whether these types of construction costs are qualified as part of the federal tax credit?
Thanks.
On further consideration, I realized this would be easily manipulated, so the answer is almost a guaranteed no. Please feel to reply if I'm missing something.
That was my understanding, but I'll double check. He does mainly do enphase, but he has done one EG4 install before. It seems like installing the 18kpv and power pro would be simpler than having to hookupall the micro inverters.
I'm considering doing something similar. Do you have picture of your setup or links to the type of heaters that you used and where you placed them? I assume you used heaters that are 21w each, not combined, correct?
I am working with a local solar installer to put in whole home solar backup. I'm leaning towards 18kpv with a power pro battery. My roof should have room to mount 30 400w panels, so now I'm left with picking the right panels.
My installer quoted REC N peak 3 at 240 a panel which is ok for...
