I did take a lead off each end. I ended up using the Redarc 40 amp system with built in 40 amp MPPT solar charger. It was a fun build and I had Redarc check out my install and reading. Everything checked out okay. I did use busbars for both the positive and negative leads. Someone suggested...

Do DC-DC chargers, still take their toll on your vehicles alternator?

Is there a reason not to go with the Renogy 2000 Watt inverter?

Thank you. I’m so upset with Renogy, that I decided to go with a Redarc 40 amp DC charger. They recommend 4 gauge for a 16-30 foot run. I have a 20‘ run from my starter battery to the house batteries (3-105AH LiFePO4). Does this sound like it’s an appropriate size for this application?

New to forum, I tried to find a previous post to no avail. I wold like to wire three new Lion batteries in my RV. I looked at the proper way to wire 4 units in parallel, but I cannot find any information to correctly wire three. Lastly, would it be appropriate to bring all three up to full...

Thank you for the reply. I need to know the correct post to take off to the ground and positive. On a 4 battery system they recommend taking a lead off of the middle two batteries. Yes, it is a 12V system. Russ

I bought three for my RV. They are really light and the charge up lights are nice. I’ll buy a couple more if they come up again for that price. Company has been responsive to my questions, even on a weekend. They are package extremely well, in fact I used some of it to wrap around the batteries...

It is difficult to reach point zero, but I left a message and received a call back within the hour. I do know that they are backordered and not shipping until July. I hesitated and missed the May cutoff. Really nice unit, and fits both the home back up and an extended boon docking stay, like Elk...

Okay, I bought a Renogy 2000w inverter, decided after some negative 1 star ratings to cancel my order, I did so, and received it anyway. And of course Renogy charged me appropriately. I’m trying to find the information Will posted about this unit. I believe he found a fault with this unit. If...

Question, do you need to use the same size wire for both the positive and negative leads to the battery. I’m running 1/0 from the positive side of the battery to a DC - DC charger. I had already made up a 4 gauge lead for the negative side of the battery, with a 250amp bus bar inline, to tie...
