Wanted to provide everyone an update. I did receive my replacement on Tuesday and this one arrived in much better condition and seems to be fully operation unlike my first battery. The leaking unit was delivered to BB mid-day on Wednesday (3/10), No word on the inspection...

This is a COMPLETE lie! I told all about the smell, non functional switch, volt meter not shutting off, low voltage, and damage from the leak. Also news to me about my replacement being sent. I asked yesterday and today if it has been sent and have yet to get a response.

No chance it came from outside. For those who don't know, this is how they are packaged. Battery pack has a plastic bag around it, then put into a cardboard box and taped shut. Then surrounded by about 2 inches of foam on all sides. Then put in a larger box and taped shut and then banded with 2...

Oddly enough, I actually design fire extinguishers :). I do not know what is in theirs, but FE's are typically non-corrosive. I can't imagine anyone using and extinguishing agent that would corrode components that fast. No, I have not heard anything from BB. Tomorrow will be a full week...

Absolutely agree, NOBODY does! But if ONE does so should EVERYONE else that has the same issue. I actually paid for mine, Will got his FREE, then got 2 MORE FREE.

Actually my replacement didn't get sent out til late Friday, AFTER I started commenting on this thread. I did share the pics of all the outside damage with your customer service. After your customer service and engineer insinuated I caused the damage, I removed the top and took pics of the wire...
