    SOK SK48V100 Problems

I have an older battery from QH Technology. I have been unable to communicate with its RS232 port. It has an older Pace BMS. I'd like to try PBMStools HS1.0.6 - where did you download it? Is it still available somewhere?

2023: BMS Systems Changing & Improving

Very impressive unit. Big like Pace, Seplos, TDT, etc. Since it has upgradable firmware, it is very tempting to pre-order. If the firmware upgrading process actually works. Likely that there will be some bugs in the first versions, but then with firmware upgrades these can be fixed.

That link has disappeared. Maybe JK pulled it? Was there a model number, so I can search for it in the future?

2023: BMS Systems Changing & Improving

When you listed JK BMS's: "currently there are 3 versions around, 2 of which are older, one is current. 10c - canbus inverter comms only - older 10d - rs485 inverter comms only - older 10e - newest and current both rs485 and canbus. can communicate directly with both 10c and 10d, however, not...

Is there a better MC4 tool?

Yes that is the metal one I've tried. I also have some plastic MC4 tools from Enphase - no help there either.

Is there a better MC4 tool?

Like most people's solar panels, my solar panels have MC4 connectors. After they have been outside making power for a while, it is sometimes necessary to disconnect them for troubleshooting, new wiring configuration, upgrading and so on. But every time I try to do that, I am so frustrated...

Anyone Used these type of lugs for DC terminal breaker Connections?

(Sorry - I didn't specify who I was replying to) - Corrected version: @meetyg - These crimped ends look great for connecting to the kind of entry that doesn't have the screw holes for a lug. Did you make these yourself? If so, how? Or did you buy them? If so, where? What are they called? I'm...

These look great for connecting to the kind of entry that doesn't have the screw holes for a lug. Did you make these yourself? If so, how? Or did you buy them? If so, where? What are they called? I'm trying to connect some 4/0 to DC breakers and running into a similar issue and would love to...

    Enphase w/ Victron

I'm going to join in here now. We have been gradually adding to our solar system over the last 23 years. Every few years, we have added a whole new segment. After 23 years, the central heart of our system, a Trace dual stacked SW4048 wired 120/240 split-phase began having problems and showing...
