Severe voltage sag under heavy load

Unfortunately that is one thing I have not done. Do not own the proper test equipment to test. But it’s on order now ;-)

Yup premium grade A… USA supplier. No marking and have the EVE caps on the posts.

Severe voltage sag under heavy load

    I’ve seen north of 350a. It’s a 600A motor controller that runs a 3phase 5kw drive motor.

Severe voltage sag under heavy load

Yup, all brand new. Swapped out for M4 studs and using serrated flange nuts. Well torqued. Also for good measure I doubled up the busbars.

Severe voltage sag under heavy load

Not really solar but same tech. I have a 72v 105ah pack with a 200a JK BMS I built for a golf cart. Under heavy load approx 250a the voltage will sag to 2.7 or lower at times. This is at full SOC. I’ve tested individual cells with my meter to confirm it’s not something jacked with the BMS. Soon...

I've been referencing this forum for quite a while now. Will's videos were instrumental in my learning. While I am not currently involved with solar, I do however build custom LFP packs for golf carts. My page is over on FB under Skunkworks Lithium. It's just sort of a side gig hobby of mine.
