Hey everyone, Just wanted to share a new solar hybrid heat pump I will be reviewing this summer. This one is sold by Ecosolaris out of Quebec Canada. It comes in 12k and 18k and they will be offering a 48v module to run it directly on a 48v battery.

What is your open circuit voltage on the string? The Ac has a minimum input voltage of 90V DC. I would suspect this is your problem if you have 5 12v panels.

Hey thanks for tagging me, my video is on the 12k. That sounds somewhat normal for a summer of use, mini splits always have mold issues. Sounds like you may have a drain issue, 8ft of run is a long way for it to go and it could be contributing to your musty smell and mold. Check your fan blades...

Yes, I have a small funnel with a 1 foot piece of tubing attached to it. If you take the filter out and put it in right at the base of the coil it will land in the pan

I just checked it again today below freezing, I was at 9300btu at around 800w. I'm pretty confident it will exceed the rated 12k, but I haven't tested it at high demand yet. I'll test that and include it in a video soon. Thanks for watching.

This looks more like a portable Ac unit with the flex duct out the window, they just aren't showing the duct... If I had to guess. I think your right as far as that being the same unit as the Ecosolaris, I've seen it sold by a few other Chinese companies under different names. I'm still not sure...
