Today Sofar tech support have updated the inverter remotely to v3.32.
After testing this seems to have cured the issue.
When grid CT is disconnected an ID35 error is generated & the Inverter shuts down.
Upon reconnection the unit does it's 60s countdown before resuming operation.
Now complies...
I initially applied for the permission of the installation of the battery storage using the fast track application. I already had the full allowance for export from my PV @ 3.6kW under g98.
I received a reply from northern power grid allowing the installation under the fast track but had to...
After the G99 fast track application you should receive a confirmation that they have accepted the application so you can then install & what export they would allow. In my case the DNO said I fell under SGI-3 which is up to 32A export.
Upon testing the ME3000SP for compliance with g100 I cannot get the inverter to behave as it should. It should shut down if the grid CT fails.
Can anyone assist?
Hi,
No setting as you suggest.
Inverter set in Auto mode which controls the charge/ discharge to maintain zero grid usage if possible.
The g100 cert indicates that if the grid CT is disconnected then the unit should shut down within 5 seconds, cannot seem to achieve this.
Currently only 4.8kW of battery. The DNO are not interested in the size of battery only potential export to the grid.
Depending on what they decide you can export.
It seems you must verify the operation under G100 at commissioning.
All a bit of a lottery I think.
The Saga continues & concludes.
There has been zero response from the DNO to any of my questions regarding the SGI-3.
I got bored of waiting so just submitted the A3.2 & G100 installation & commissioning forms filled out using my best guess.
Today I received a reply that the forms have been...
