I have (2) EG4 48v 100ah batteries from SS. They are in parallel and charged to ~53vdc. I have a shutoff switch with a fuse going to a VFX3648 inverter. I'm using a Classic Lite 150 cc which is not in the circuit. I turn on the breakers for the batteries and everything looks fine, but when I...
Can anyone from Signature Solar tell me the nearest place to Douglas, WY they can ship to? Or even Lusk, WY. I'm about 1/2 way in between. I could even go to Casper if I had to. I was going to order a couple EG4 48v batteries.
Hey, I just dug out my Outback VFX3648 which has been sitting in the box for 10 years and I realized I need about a 90A ac breaker to the breaker box and the manual says not to use a double pole breaker to power both sides of the breaker box with the same 120VAC. Would it be in bad taste to use...
I have (4) EG4 48v batteries running a VFX3648 (Outback) Inverter. I don't have a charge controller yet, so I'm running off the batteries only. I had only 2 batteries for about 2 weeks and then I recently added 2 more. Before I added the two new ones, I used a 48v charger to charge each one up...
My system is:

Midnite Classic Lite 150 cc
Outback VFX3648 Inverter
(4) Signature Solar Lifepower4 48v 5kw batteries
I've had this system working since May and it has just started getting really cold here in WY. The day before yesterday, it was mostly cloudy so...
I have a DC shunt meter which (the shunt) needs to be hooked up at the DC power (labeled A) and the DC load (labeled B). I just need to know which side of the battery to charge controller (positive or negative) to place the shunt, or does it make any difference?
I was considering either the MPP or Growatt all-in-one inverter over the 48v Midnite Classic Lite I have (but haven't installed yet) and read that the MPP and Growatt have a high idle consumption whereas some nicer ones, like Xantrax have a low idle consumption but can cost 3x to 5x more. I'm...
