I have the inverter set to sbu, but no utility power wired in. It's running off battery only with no AC hooked up from grid or powering any loads. I didn't do an amp test on the wire, I'll do that next and also require it per Lake House's post.

I'm not sure if you are just turning this on for the first time, but if you have the power switch off, the inverter will still power up when you have panels or batteries connected and going through the menus. Once your done or charging is done the inverter will go to sleep. If you flip the...
