I'm on it right now.
But they arrived at 25% SOC. If I put them in parallel now it will take 21 hours per cell... I have 12 cells. There is no way in hell I'm top balancing for 10 and a half days. So I put them in serial (as suggested by Gazoo) to charge them up to 3,55V and then start the top...
I got a problem that goes kind of in the same direction. I ordered 12 EVE 280ah cells, and they did arrive after all, but it took them a solid 100 days.
It also stated the 75 days or full refund guarantee in the contract. On AliExpress it says that you don't lose your statutory rights as a...
For me, it's actually just as useful in the summer as in the winter, because it's going to power an electric car :)
The wire gauge calculator says even with 4mm2 the loss is under 1% so with 6mm2 it should be way less.
I was just asking myself if the Victrons PowerPoint tracking software will...
Thank you very much, this was helpful and a little reassuring.
I ordered 12 cells, and they are all at 3,29v.... But they were in transit for 100 days, so I feel like that is okay.
For top balancing I ordered a Gophert CPS-3010II and was planing to parallel the cells up 4 at a time. Then just...
That is what it looks like for now. I know it looks horrible, because it is :)
But at 6a nothing other then these tiny charging leads should have a chance of getting warm.
The stuff for the compression frame is still in the mail, aswell as the cables for the new charging leads and the torque...
I have 10awg in the mail, but doubeling up sounds good.
If I want to change something I have to wait a few days for it to arrive . Stores are still closed over here. Its really anoying.
Little update.
One pack was charged up to 90% SOC and put in a compression frame to be charged in parallel now.
It is only taking 2A at 3.6V which is a little painful to watch, but it shows me that serial charging them up to 90%, before putting them in parallel, was definitely the way to go...
Your skin has a resistance that the voltage needs to overcome in order for a current to flow through your body to the ground. The skin resistance is from person to person slightly different, and it also depends on if your hands are dry or wet etc... The MAXIMUM your skin can protect you from are...
Hello Everyone
About 6 months ago I decided to build a camper van for which I ordered some Lifepo4 cells from China. Those finally arrived after a whopping 100 days of travel time. Due to the way the seller handled that "minor shipping time overrun" and his general behavior after the cells were...
@Gazoo
He I put 4 of them in the 4S config and started charging with 14v 8a, but after only 800wh into the charging i have one cells acting up.
3 cells stay within 0.04V of each other but one cell already has a 0.2V difference. (I turned the chargin of for now)
Cell1: 3.383V
Cell2: 3.346V
Cell3...
Hello
I want to top balance my battery pack and put 4 EVE 280ah in a 4S config with a Daly smart BMS.
I started charging them with a dc power supply at 14v 8a.
After arriving at 3,55V i was planning on puting them out of series and into parallel to charge them together up to 3,6V
But after only...
Yes i got the readings from the smart bms app.
The connectons are only handtight because the torque wrenche is still in the mail. I tought at 8a it wouldnt matter that much...
I guess swapping the cells is a good idea. I will try that.
Thanks
But wouldn't it be the other way around then? One cell having a bad connection getting less power?
Even if cell 4 is the one conneted to the dc power supply directly (main positiv) and the other 3 cells are connected badly, cell 4 shouldnt take voltage this fast, right?
Hey
My setup is as followed:
27x Trina Solar Vertex s TSM-400 DE09.08
2x Victron Smart solar Mppts 250/100 MC4
3x Victron MultiPlus 48V 5000 70/50
8x Pyxlontech US3000C
The caption is a little misleading, but i don't know how to describe the question any better.
I want to combine the panels...
