Thanks for the Forum. Looking to really upgrade an off grid cabin solar system to something that actually works since it was running a harbor freight set of panels and 12 volt batteries. I am going with 24 volts. Have a lot of components now I have to connect them all.

Here is what I have on solar panels. 6 100watt panels

I have 6 panels 12 volts 3 sets of series for the 24 volts each pair and 3 in parallel

That is a Samalex EVO-2224E inverter.

Hi Doug You need a transfer switch possibly like this https://www.samlexamerica.com/documents/manuals/11001-STS-30-0917_Lrez.pdf to switch from 110 to your inverter battery back up...

Hi I have a Samalex 2200 24volt inverter which I am using in my solar system and a Midnite solar 150 charge controller attached to a midnite solar mndc-175 box. Would it be ok to run the charge controller thru the external batt charge terminals on the Samalex? It says <50 amps to those...

Thanks Can we get any info off the BMS that comes with these batteries? What do you set your charge controller to charge them. I have a midnight solar 150 that I am going to install. But never had LiFePo batteries always lead acid.
