All is running with no issues...
Settings only need to be made on one inverter and are replicated immediately to the others.
Remember to exit settings to effect the changes.
For SA reporting I had to change from voltronic, mppt to SRNE.
You can leave the parallel communication cables connected...
Ok officially impressed with the chargers on the units...I currently have 9315 watts out of my 23 405 watt panels and today around noon I was generating 9061 watts to load and battery... Only 300 watt loss to me is impressive.
It was still setting 37... That setting is limited to the current float voltage in setting in 11 I guess... Before I couldn't set it above 52.8 then it went back to 44... This time I could increase it to 53.6... Still can't get 54. Now it's working like I wanted
Thanks for the settings we were...
I run my whole house now off grid. 51kwh battery pack, 23 405w panels (I have 36 but have to make room for the last 13) two SP6548 in split phase. I reduced loads by switching from 4500 watt hot water element to 2500w on the lower element only. I run electric 220 dryer, induction stove top...
Nice video man... The install looks clean. I'm in the process of switching from 2 SP6548 split phase to 2 of these parallel split phase for the 20kw (~100amp) service.
Incidentally I run everything right now on the two 6548s including hot water heater and dryer. I swapped the 4500w lower...
This is the automation I'm looking for...not all batteries reach full together so to be able to open it up during the start of charging and then throttle it back to meet the BMS settings as it reaches a closer voltage is great... Thanks!
There is a problem... The batteries didn't charge all day...I woke up and they were at 88%... And never charged... They continued to support the load and supplement the PV... They should do a full charge and then float all day.
Ok... I'll be the guinea pig... I'll let y'all know how it goes...I have all the wiring right... And it looks like you only need to change 31 to PAL. Gonna shoot an email off to SGP in a minute... Right now it's 103 outside and my garage is burning up so I'll stay on the grid for another few hours.
I just got in 4 of the inverters. 2 for my house and two for my son's. I'm stepping up from two of the sp6548s in each house. Waiting on the arrival of SA box and a couple terminal blocks to facilitate the parallel setup before getting started. I have a 51kw battery pack and 36 405w panels...
Ya it was just that it hadn't done any charging because I never got the voltage level on the batteries to invoke the charge... Finally have the settings issue resolved for now... The spikes are the hot water heater kicking on and the blender while making smoothies... 😂
While I don't use the grid except when I'm in maintenance on the system, sounds like something isn't set right. Can you post your settings here? I can try to replicate your scenario here and see what I come up with.
Thanks I got the batteries reporting this morning...I have 10 ea 100ah batteries running the JKBMS all reporting in the SA now. I used an old USB cable for my Amazon stick to connect my current sp6548s to the SA box this morning too... Still have to get some 6 gauge to be ready to do the swap...
I downloaded it last week for Windows... Is that what you want...SGP support said they recommend using the inverter interface... The app is called iPower-nt.
Ok... Yes two printer cables both on the usb3 ports on the SA my batteries go in on the usb3 port and now I see everything...I just noticed I have something wrong in my config cause I'm not getting any real charging... Solar is only handling the load...I checked seeing 37 but mine doesn't allow...
What are you using for setting 8? If set to User you should be able to control your boost and float voltage and times. You will also have to coordinate those with setting 37 for recharging. 43.6 is really low. I would recommend setting it closer to your float voltage in order to initiate a full...
@Enzo.R what do you have for setting 5... Default is 57.6 but I don't ever charge my batteries past 55.6... Although that is if 1 is set to SBU, not for UTI...
Also there should be a timeout feature when mains come on or when starting the inverter that will be used to test the stability of the...
Unfortunately for me I have to replace 10 of the jbd's with the jk's for this reason...I'm just considering it a serious upgrade at this price point but it will give me peace of mind and the communication and active balance is true value add.
Argh... Had to order a bigger breaker for my old main panel that supplies power to my new panel when I take the solar offline and the one I ordered is the new stab when I needed the old stab federal Pacific breakers so now I have to wait till Wednesday to get started... Oh well.
The XW should be able to use the SCP (system control panel) locally without a combox or insight/2. We had several of these setup like this in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria
Are you guys all running a single inverter or paralleling 2? I think @Enzo.R is ... When first turning the system on, do you go grid, batteries, inverter breaker, start switch and do the first unit and then setting 31 to PAL and then bring the second inverter online?
Have you tried to see if setting 71 is available? It sounds like the settings you have should be correct but it seems like a logic issue... Also have you followed up with SGP yet?
Hey @Kemmer ... LUMA never goes down...😆. Notifying grid changes is something the schneider did really well while I was living there but most of the aio's don't offer it. I belive solar assistant is working on notifications for a September release update. I know this is a topic discussion...
