Hedges, I appreciate your thoughtful reply. Unfortunately I've not come across a qualified solar installer who has said they feel comfortable with SMA or other. Everyone seems to do some variation of Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla....and one who did Sol-Ark.
Regarding the comment above on CPUC not having approved HomeGrid batteries. Does the CPUC need to approve batteries too? I was told they only qualify inverters for use in grid-tied systems. Curious if I received bad information?
Ps. Sol-ark 15k is CPUC approved as of the end of November...
