I have been looking at a very similar situation. I have single phase with an enphase system.
I have also looked at the victron gear and deye/sunsynk.
I have decided to go with the sunsynk option as there is more information available on the OS they have on the inverter. The youtube channel on...
As far as i am aware, the grid neutral does not get switched at any time, no matter where the supply is coming from unless it is a 2 pole breaker rcd.
I know this is from a different brand of inverter but the pic shows the N out being bonded to the main installation N. The thing I do know about...

That is the product page. The manual is down the bottom. Page 18 has a really good wiring diagram.

How does it go connecting to Solar assistant or home assistant?
I'm guessing just disconnect the screen and use the pins to go to an rs485 to usb adapter?
This product looks great and I am looking at one for a set of cells.
Cheers
Nice setup and planning.
I am looking at the zj Beny DC cb as well. I'm in the buying stuff phase.. Just wondering what the cable input are on the zj Beny cb's are? Bolt on connection? What size bolts / lugs?
Cheers
That made sense to me.. The rules say the neutral on ac out has to be bonded back to main neutral (therefore the main MEN) and not to be broken on the ac out side of the inverter.. I just could not find anything locking in (or out) the need for a contactor in Australia .The victron MP2 has that...
Hi there...
Great posts and info on this thread.
I am looking at the 5kw myself as an ac coupled battery solution.
The thing I am trying to figure out from all the info is, the neutral earth Bonding in Australia.. Do we need the contactor for the n e bond in ups mode as the wiring rules say...
