Hi All,
I've just added a Fogstar 15.5kWh to my system
I have a Growatt SPH3000 Hybrid inverter that did have 2 ML33RTA batteries (now for sale)
This setup was fine however even this time of year i was reaching 100% which is good but not great.
I had 2 choices add more ML33RTA batteries (maximum 6) or try a Fogstar 15.5kWh unit?
After lots thoughts i decided to buy the Fogstar.
Unit came is a half size pallet/box and weighed 140KG (That's heavy for one)
Well after a couple hours moving and unpacking this unit it came to setup.
Removed the old batteries and wired in the new unit, first I powered on the unit and setup up BMS (touch screen) I set this to CAN and Growatt.
This was very easy also set the Inverter to 20% discharge, I then plugged in the cable in to the CAN connection on the battery. Powered on the inverter and battery then switched on the MCB on the battery.
To my surprise all worked both parts talking to each other and showing the same info (Batt %)
So after a couple of days both are still working as should and no problems to report.
My pictures show before and after plus the BMS display on the battery.

I was waiting for Fogstar to develop this battery for some time, Ben made a post (over a year ago i think) asking for suggestions and what the end user wanted as opposed to just developing what they 'thought' the end use might want and it looks to have paid off!

as i had already gone down the Seplos self assembly route unfortunately, this battery came after my install, otherwise i would have bought two of these as they seem to cover what i would want out of a battery ! A couple of videos from another purchaser - damn they look good !!

Looking good there, thanks for the videos, glad its worked well for you.

Wished i could say the same, i have tried connecting to an Epever 5000uphi with the same battery and Epever bms link and not sure if its compatible afterall. Battery i have set at program 11 and i get the BME error comms. Set it back to 1 and seems a bit glitchy and cant see its connected correctly in settings. any idea would be great cheers.
grrrrr

oh forgot, did you get the rs232 to usb cable as its not with the device?
cheers
