Hi All

I have 4 of these connected in parallel (all cables identical length) to a Victron PowerIn (1000A Bus bar). The voltages are close but OS's are up to 30% off. tried resetting them. I'm in firmware 3.1. Downloaded new firmware but cannot load. (Get Boot Info fails all the time). Obviously the cable is wirking otherwise BMWTest wouldn't be ale to read the data shown below

This is really messing u my Victron System. Bought from SignatureSolar and they have been no help

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Mark

New batteries almost always arrive imbalanced.
New batteries need cycling and/or extended time at peak voltage to balance.
Old batteries need to be regularly charged to full for balance to be retained.
New batteries almost always have inaccurate SoC.
New batteries will not begin accurately reflecting SoC until fully charged.
Old batteries need to be regularly charged to full for SoC to remain accurate.

How is it messing up your Victron system?

If you provide a charge voltage of 56 to 56.5 volts while monitoring the batteries with the BMS_Test software you will start to see the BMS for each battery begin to balance cells when the cell reaches 3.45 volts. This will be be indicated with a 'Bal' next to each cell. Once the BMS starts to balance cells it will reset SOC to 100%.

Once balancing starts lower the charge voltage to 55.5 and let the batteries "Soak" for awhile.

Depending on your charge discharge cycles you may from time to time have to do this.
