I have an RV setup with 4 7 yr. old Battle born 12v 100AH LiFePO4 batteries. One of my batteries is at 30% state of charge and won't go any higher, the rest are reading 99% SOC. I have used the Victron stand alone charger to charge each one individually. I use a Victron 3000w inverter/charger in my system. My question is can I just replace the failed battery with a new Li time 100 AH, or is there a better option for me now.

Just check the discharge and charge rates rates of the LiTime and yes you can mix.

I recently mixed and matched batteries in two home made 50 ah packs. I have just put that in service and the new batteries seem to be discharging more than the older batteries. I have one battery that is brand new 8S 50 ah that discharges more current, and a second 2P8S pack which 25 ah cells are in parallel which discharge less current. So with both batteries, my true amperage is not 100 ah, I suspect 85 ah or so.

Once you put the LiTIme in service, I suspect it will not be 400 ah capacity total, but slightly less, like maybe 390 ah.

No way to tell without a capacity test, and I do not want to drain the battery and then recharge.

Try the Battleborn 10 year warranty!

Previous discussions regarding Battleborn capacity loss, indicated that holding the battery at 14.6 volts for a few days restored the lost capacity
