Paid $885 all in for this through batteryfinds.

Took about six weeks from order to delivery from China.

Some damage to one of the ears. Turned on fine. Biggest issue the damn terminals are too narrow for my normal 1/0 lugs.

Please, open that baby up and take pics of the inside. Really curious about the cells, build quality, etc!

So a little hard to see my phone's low on charge can't use flash, but the entire plate that holds the BMS has seperated from its mount point on the right side wall of the case and is leaning towards the front panel a bit. Still super solid and doesn't look like any impact to the bottom of the BMS board.

That one has had a decent impact somewhere along its way. Still might be just fine. Can you open up those yellow plastics to see if cells/busbars are ok?

Not nice when you pay for delivery and they treat it like that but I wouldn't mind if it's still structurally ok and working.

They are pretty well taped up I'm going to leave it be. In my mind they are eve grade A and not some random B grade trash cells :) Haven't hooked up yet but it powered up fine so will use it as is, just bend the ear back. For $885 delivered I'm not disappointed. If this was a $1500+ eg4 LL, sok pro or Pytes I'd prob request satisfaction.

No I mean I think you should look if there is damage to cells/busbars because of that big impact. And then you might have decent opportunity to hook up wires for external balancer. That's like 10min job and less than 5$ when you first open it up. Maybe you need those wires later maybe not.

But yes I see they have been generous with tape and maybe even used glue with that yellow plastic.
