Guys, I am finally going to buy two extra batteries from Oupes for a Oupes Mega 3 (https://oupes.com/products/oupes-mega-3-home-backup-portable-power-station-3600w-3072wh). The Batteries are each 2048 watt hours.... The Batteries (https://oupes.com/products/b2-battery) have their own Anderson connectors for solar panels and have the same MPPT specifications as the Mega 3. The specs of the solar panel Anderson connector on the battery is MPPT 18 to 150 volts....15 amps max ....and 2100 watts max.

The two new batteries and the Mega 3 will each have a their own dedicated connection from dedicated solar panels which I want to purchase next week also.

Could one of you generous people out there please advise me how to best plan and purchase the ideal solar panels to make this work. I want to order the batteries and the Oupes Mega 3 and the panels next week and get the best pricing......... I want to give each battery and the attached Oupes Mega 3 power station (solar generator) the best solar panel set up for the max charge possible. I want to charge the Maga 3 and its two batteries from Solar in the most efficient way possible. I do not want to use power from the grid or my generator (I am in Belize).

I have read a lot but by no means am an expert. Please tell me what will work best... Thanking you in advance..... I have plenty of room for solar panels and want to go for the biggest wattage which makes sense...... This is a puzzle beyond my experience. Help Please.

Rob

Brain fart prevent, on Oupes Mega's the 12v 30 amp out is Anderson connectors, so is the solar input. Plugging the solar into the 12v out will release the magic smoke.
Gorilla tape over 12v out is good idea.

Thank you. I saw this and am panning on the gorilla tape.... One reviewer made this mistake and plugged the solar input into the output and fried some parts!!!! Another similar brain fart issue..... it seems to me that 12 volt ac's are out of the question with Oupes as the 12 volt outputs are all less than 50 amps which means that MOST 12 volt air conditioners won't work.....

I have been looking around here and it seems like Oupes has a terrible reputation on this forum. It seems like an almost too good to be true deal..... It also seems like all of the crap with Oupes is more than a year old and that Oupes might have cleaned up their act...
