Equipment Replacement

Hello all. We currently have a solar water well with Lorentz equipment. Lost the controller, input voltage good but no output. I found a controller at RPS that has the same input and output specifications as the Lorentz controller. I think the pump is still ok after running ohm test. Was just wondering if I can swap out the controller or am I locked into Lorentz only.

If the pump use seperate cables to connect to a solar controller or battery
And the out put of the controller is the same .
I do not see a problem.
