Current System:
Inverter: Sol-ark 12k
PV: 10kw
Batteries: Fortress 5.4 x 2 =10.8 10.8kwh
Currently I am grid tied but I have 10.8kwh of batteries as a backup. I don’t believe my batteries are doing anything at all, they never discharge and are always sitting at 100%. Given the anti-islanding feature, if there is a power outage then I can not use any power from my PV or my batteries. Is there a way I could turn off the main breaker from the meter and then “Off-grid” my system?
Or, is there a system where I can keep my system completely off grid with PV and battery as the source while having a grid “feed” into the system as a backup?
