Hi People

hope everyone is ok
I purchased a used Victron phoenix smart inverter from ebay, only the seller did not supply the blue tooth pin code.

I am not with the Victron unit so I can't check if the Puk code sticker is still on the unit.

I am doing bit off research until I get time to go back to where the unit is installed to check for the Puk code sticker.

So, My question!!!, is the Bluetooth pin code resettable WITH OUT a Puk code (worst case scenario)

I have a Victron blue tooth dongle on another device, could that be off use in order to help reset the phoenix inverter???

I have messaged the seller, but as off yet I have not received a reply, at this stage, I genuinely don't think the seller has even read the messages as he is a VERY LIGHT Ebay user.

any help would be appreciated

Puk code is the best way .
You could try doing a reset of the device using the dongle .

I just powered up my home built system with some, mostly used, Victron Bluetooth compatible items.

One had five zeros (00000) instead of six as the password.

Another one still had the previous password and I had to use the PUK code to reset it. The PUK code is on the serial number label, either on the side or back of the unit.
