Hello all , big solar enthusiast as well as a young zoomer nature/wildlife filmmaker. Im still in my early twenties and always wanted to convert a 40ft' retired school bus into a tiny house on wheel ill be using for a decade travelling the country working in nature , making films , i don't want to compromise on anything like a normal apartment ,just in a lesser sqft and 24 volts , running a complete desktop setup also camera equipment's as well as lights and batteries for but also avid gaming when not traveling or done working as well as other kitchen appliances which require electricity. Ive always leaned towards 2000 watts solar panels,4000 watts mppt Inverter and LIFepo4 batteries but as of recently right after will reviewed the titan generator ive been thinking of getting that and 2 extra batteries (3 in total) as ive summed up my budget would be about 7k. what are yall's thought as well as whats the best option for me as i'm really being strategic with this looking for the best option that would survive the decade i'm gona be living on the road? Thanks and God bless all

I'll bite. Plan on insulating that thing no idea on cost. 2000W Solar sounds good but into a 4000w mppt inverter? Too many eggs in a single basket; personally, keep it simple and secure- seperate controllers to batteries as a failsafe and run a seperate inverter, just my opinion here. LifePo4 batteries is smart but expensive, heck it's all expensive at this point. Laptops are really good these days and use much less power then desktops- HDMI to a flatscreen TV, USB to mouse and keyboard- however there are those Gold 80+ power supplies these days soo... My reply was about as vauge as your post.

YES, what you want to do is possible maybe at under 7K. However research for your dream to make it work because when you're out there in your bus with no cell reception (ignoring you'd have a sat phone) and there's a problem, you need the knowledge to identify the problem and fix and/or work around it. Fantasies are awesome, reality can be a drag unless planned for.

Thanks so much you dint answer it directly but i totally get the point and yes the computer psu is gona be 80+ gold at 800 watts just for the Pc. Would rather a laptop but the ones out rn don't have as strong graphical capacity of that of the desktops and laptops with high end graphics card for 3 d rendering are twice as expensive than their desktop counterpart ...... but yeah i'm leaning towards your suggestion and would do a DIY solar system as a main and the titan for a backup , just in case of any disasters , again thanks you really explained it well and left the answer for me to figure out, cheers.
