There are two flats on the drill guide. You can either use a crescent wrench to apply force or you can use an adjustable wrench to round the corners
You can press it. 12 tons needed to create the cold weld (so I am told). Then there is the tin or nickel plating that need to be done afterward.I'm guessing copper piping flatten out could be used for the ends. An hydraulic press from HF would do it nice but even a workshop vise maybe able to press them? I defenetly prefer to pay a few bucks if we can find them at a decent price.
Added note: After seeking prices for flexible busbars; I think if I go for fexible bus bars, I like will be making my own (at least after getting cost from one Alibaba supplier). Here some Good to Interesting looking options (Pictures attached). If anyone finds reasonable prices, post it in this thread. :+) ... I think flexible bus bars or more critical in an electric vehicle, especially an high amp in and out battery bank in a dune buggy speeder. ,,, and likely way less important on a home solar setup. ... I would like to see a test result on the EVE 280Ah cells for exspansion and contraction when running full 1 C (280 amps) of current in and out of em. I like will see only up to 140 Amps in and out in my 24v home solar solar setup.Nice to see a 250 Amp Rating ... Here's some pictures from my internet search time/ ... including a possible 25' braid at $120. ... also found Zhejiang RHI Electric Co.,Ltd on internet to get a quote or two from; and https://stormpowercomponents.com/grounding-2/flexible-connectors-flexbraids/ ... while considering options :+)
