“We have the 3.2V 280Ah Lifepo4 cell in stock now, the price is USD86/pcs. FOB shenzhen.
Grade A and more than 3000 times cycle life.
Door to door, included tariff. around 35 days.
Total for 8 units batteries with shipping is USD894.”

Thoughts - Recommendations - Things I should ask

Links to other vendors I should check

Thank you!

Yea, 35 days seems optimistic. Fortunately 35 - 60 days is ok for me.

Ask for pictures, check for QR codes
Ask for datasheet
Ask for Internal Resistance (IR) matching
Ask how will they resolve any problems? Who pays for return shipping if necessary?
etc..

$86 was the price I was quote when the 280Ah cells were just becoming popular, it sounds like these could be Grade A~B unmatched cells. Its a good deal if:

1) you put in the work to match the cells
2) you have time
3) they will replace any faulty cells at no cost (but you will have to wait for shipping)

Hope the helps, good luck!

Any vendor telling you 35 days shipping currently is already lying.
The price is right, but what else might they be lying about?

FOB? Just say no.

DDP is what you want.
