Hello all. I’ve been lurking for sometime and playing with electricity since I was a youngster. Getting into solar a bit, mainly as a backup for power outages but also for some cool projects at the school where I am employed. (Attached are photos of some 1/0 cables the kids have made, as well as our mystery project!) I have a mild campervan that I have been keeping for my brother while he is deployed and toying with more of a house battery for that, and looking at more fun ways to power the 48V golf cart.tempImageyAYl12.pngtempImageek81N2.png
I have used automotive starting SLA batteries for >400watt modified sine inverters for many years, and last year I moved into AGM Hawker Batteries and a 2200W pure sine inverter. Today I unboxed my 60AH cells from LiltoKala. I ordered them on August 31st, and received the Daly 100A BMS almost a month ago.
Initial cell impressions are good, with clear QR codes and no noticeable external damage. Cells are slightly swollen (not listed as grade A), packaging was good and looks just like other photos already listed online in reviews. Cells measured:
1 - 2.89
2 - 3.04
3 - 2.87
4 - 2.58tempImagefvaA4b.pngtempImagepoTpsL.pngtempImage8tOWfD.pngtempImagerodCTI.pngtempImageAVYIC9.png
Cell 4 is swollen noticeable more than the others, but not visible to the eye. This is an intentionally cheap project for me to learn LiFePo4 since I already have all the other tools and materials. My criterial were to get something under a total of $250 so I would use AliExpress only with a Visa Gift Rewards card I had, and to get it as lightweight as a could with a max 300A pull. My friend has a racecar we will try to start with this, and then it will be used for camping.

Thanks for all the great posts that have been helping me!tempImagedClf2V.png
