When I would be able to remove my ceiling mounted A/C unit - I could add about 900w more of solar. Further lowering the center of gravity.

Thoughts? Opinions? Ducting that thing will be a bit of a challenge also cutting holes in the floor.

I plan to buy one ... they have a big caveat on the "dehumidification" mode, saying not to use it all the time.... and that is bugging me as it should bug anybody who lives in a humid place. Thoughts on this? It is also NOT an inverter unit... it is either all on or all off.

where did you read that?

Some A/C units have a separate extra dehumidification mode. Where they dump a lot more water while only regular dehumidification during normal operations.

It is also NOT an inverter unit... it is either all on or all off.
yeah, that bugs me to,
I've wrote the manufacture and suggested: inverter and DC direct drive. They got back to me and said the value customer feedback and gave me a $150 discount code :p

How do you like Pioneer 9,000 BTU 115v Under-Bench RV Heat Pump Air Conditioner. It looks like it would fit inside my Ford van with little or no effort; I don't even think I would need to run ducts. How does it work in the Summer in very hot conditions?
