Definitely high frequency
I think the inverter the op linked, SGP TP6048, is a different inverter than the MPP LVX6048WP. MPP has 2 PV inputs, SGP has one and isn't 'waterproof' .
The SGP SP6548 is closer to the MPP.

Edit
@bones1 can you clarify which inverter you are asking about? Your thread title is for MPP you linked SGP.

Seller just replied to my question about the TP6048, Low Frequency. If it weren't for the 135 watt idle consumption I'd have ordered the darn thing already.

Either the TP6048 Sungold or the MPP LVX6048, they the same unit. The LVX6048WP is a different unit and I'm not referring to that one.

According to watts247, the LVX6048 is a high frequency inverter with an auto transformer., therefore only 2X surge capactity vs 3X for true low frequency inverters. i have yet to find the surge rating for the LVX6048, if anyone has that i would love to know.

12kW for 5 seconds. It can surge higher for shorter periods though.

Ian told me it was 12k surge but it's undocumented. I have one of these and at first I thought I bought a LF inverter but I see now that it's not.
