I recently decommissioned several large arrays that were running the Ubiquiti 250W Micro Inverters. I'm the original owner and purchased them all in October 2016.

They have a 10 year warranty and I'll include a copy of the original invoice for warranty purposes. About 15 are brand new RMA replacements from Ubiquiti.

I also have many end connectors and gateways for communication. You can put up to 14 together on a single string to a 20A 240V breaker.

I'd like to sell these in sets of at least 12. I'll make you a deal if you take them all and can come pick them up.

Full disclosure, I have had more than my share of failures over the years, but Ubiquiti does replace them when they fail. Most failed during the infant mortality period, but I have had failures that occurred after the first 2 years. Some weren't due to the inverters, but rather a couple of bad connectors. With over 130 deployed, you are bound to have failures. I would not deploy these on a roof unless you can easily access them in case of failure.

I know I'm a new member here, but I have been over on SolarPanelTalk since 2016 (when I initially deployed these). Username over there is pclausen. Have also been on eBay for years (also pclausen) with a 100% positive rating (531).

Here you can see the various components in the SunMax series:

I have a pair of cracked panels that I use for testing. I plan to start testing each inverter (even though they were just removed from service 30 days ago), to make sure they are ok.

Here's one of the large arrays showing the inverters. You can see that there were 2 failed inverters when I took that screenshot:

For any sale, I will provide screenshots of the inverters tested showing the MAC IDs, as well as pics of the inverters themselves with matching MAC IDs.

Man I always wondered how these faired in the real world. I saw them go Beta and then disappeared and always wondered how they did in the real world. Some people were excited for the new production units, but then most were expecting it to end up like their mFi...

Good luck with sale though!

How about $2,000 for the lot?

Here's what I paid:

137 Inverters @ $92
126 Landscape cables @ $21
9 Portrait cables @ $19
4 Gateways @$51
10 End run connectors @$20
6 AC extension cables @$16

So a grand total of about $16k.

Pick up some decent used panels and you can have a 35 kW system on the cheap!
