I will never own a smart phone.

Imagine the outrage back in the 1970's if the government told every citizen they need to carry a tracking collar around their neck.
Now look in your pocket.

And people think which bathroom one uses is important? Idiots.

What surprises (more annoys) me is that anyone is surprised or outraged by this. Of f*$@ing course this is happening.

Morons that allow men to use womens bathrooms, provide puberty blockers to kids, allow drag shows for kids etc also allow development and use of software like this to monitor smartphones.

Yes, there is an idiot in the room.

ROFLMAO. The company was developed by two former high-ranking Department of Homeland Security officials under former President George W. Bush

Open mouth, insert your foot.

And WTF does that matter? Pull your head out of your ass and pay attention. I didnt make any reference to political affiliation. Its a free market and some people will sell their mothers for a dollar, regardless of being a republican or democrat.

Again, I didnt make this political. My statement was ideological and there are retards in both camps that allow, promote and profit from all kinds of BS.

You did make a political reference, I just don't think you realize it.. which in itself is funny as hell to me, and would be humiliating to you if you understood.

You tied the LGBT crowd (morons that allow men to use women's bathrooms, puberty blockers, drag shows, etc), to those who develop software to spy on us.
Or maybe it was just the way you worded it?

It is the conservatives who do most of the spying and create laws and precedent to allow more spying.

It was a conservative supreme court in 1979 (Smith v. Maryland) that ruled that you give up your rights to privacy when you hand information to a 3rd party. This is referred to as the third-party doctrine. Prosecutors and police call it the gift that keeps on giving. It means the government can obtain information about you from 3rd parties without a warrant.

It is always amusing to witness someone that apparently achieved some level of competence or even mastery in a narrow discipline, assume that that achievement is transferrable to the balance of disciplines or bodies of knowledge, and then tell others they are wrong based on that arrogance.

First off, I did not say it was the LGBT crowd I was referencing so go screw yourself on that. I am not going to accept your assumed and unintelligent inference.

The LGBT crowd didnt allow anything to happen. They applied pressure. The individuals I was referencing was anyone, regardless of political affiliation, special interest and all the way down to voters and those who failed to vote that simply possess weak character that allow stupid shit to occur, that are responsible for the stupid shit.

There is a tiny minority of very noisy people that push the stupid shit and then there are three groups that allow it to happen:
  1. The political individuals that think they will benefit from allowing it to happen.
  2. The individuals that believe compassion is the ultimate virtue and have nothing better to do than join any cause that claims to advance the cause of compassion.
  3. The majority of the population that is weak, apathetic and straight up pathetic that stand by and are too cowardly to oppose even thought they disagree.
It is the conservatives who do most of the spying and create laws and precedent to allow more spying.

True or not, who cares who they are politically affiliated with. Why did the liberals not reverse the decision when they regained power? They have had 43 years to do it and never did so they are just as bad. You dont get to claim the others are evil, inherit policy from them, take advantage of that policy and then claim you are better than or even somehow virtuous because you didnt implement.

People like you simply drive division. You don't seem to have any other purpose other than trying to show others how smart you are. The whole purpose of this thread was to attempt to show others how dumb they are for having a smart phone and brag how smart you are for never having had one.

Any phone that uses cell towers can be located (soon starlink satellites will be able to triangulate your position, others will follow) This can be used by the state for good, like finding missing children and adults, but also for finding women visiting reproductive care facilities.

The left are the ones promoting cameras, putting rfid chips in children and various infantile people like you.

I read your manifesto, you need mental healthcare.
LOL you read that? And you say I need mental health care.

BTW stay out of the ladies room ya perv.

It took my grandma years to figure out how to get the clock to stop blinking on her VCR. Keep at it, youll get that smart phone figured out. Some even have large buttons..

I not only have a smart phone but my wife can track it. As she so helpfully pointed out, I'm getting closer and closer to 85 so the possibility of me getting lost going to church increases by the day. Especially on Friday nights. That way if I call her for help she can find me real quick-like with that gps thingy. It would have really helped finding my dad that day if he had one but by then a cell phone with big buttons wouldn't have helped him.

You know youre old when instead of resenting your wife tracking your phone because shes jealous or you cant go sowing wild oats, youre grateful because it might save you from harm if youre incapacitated.
