Solar Assistant update - grid use

Hello, I have installed the latest update of SA. Right after reboot, it started to show use of grid eventhough there is no reason to use grid. Prior to the update, this was never like this. Grid would only be used if battery reached certain voltage or if set to pul or pal in the inverter.

Battery is nearly 100%, sunny day, low load, SBU set up in inverter.
Screen shots attached.

The inverter does not allow to give energy to the grid (revo based on axpert). It even shows negative grid use. The inverter is locked and cannot be controlled by SA.

Could this be related to the SA update?

Thank you

Solar assistant is only monitoring not controlling your system. I’d make sure your inverter is supported and connected correctly.

actually it can control your inverter, not sure about the sol-ark, but my deye/sunsynk's TOU and mode settings are controllable through SA ( and thus mqtt)

Well I think you can make a few rudimentary inverter changes but it far from what I consider control of my inverter. Yes I can make some TOU changes but that’s about it.

well, thats is all i need to control my grid charging based on rates...
any other changes i'll make on the proper software or inverter itself :)

I agree. I love my SA but only use it for instant monitoring data. Any inverter changes I make on my inverter software. I know it’s correctly done that way. I see a continuous error in SA on my TOU. If I set a 2400 or 0000 grid charge SA always shows it as 2300 which is wrong. It will never show my change as 2400 or 0000. Not a big deal but it’s there.

that probably has to do with you time and timezone setting and daylight savings.
are you syncing the sol-ark and sa to external time servers ?

had to correct my sunsynk's time btw, didnt update to tye correct time when summer time came around

I haven’t spent much time trying to figure it out but the time is correct in SA and on the inverter.
