I don't think the feds are going to be able to pay their bills this cycle. In the past, it's always been limited to low level political banter back and forth.. This time seems different.
Seems to me the democrats want to spend too much money and the republicans are going to intentionally create a default in order to gain political ammunition.
The dems need to stop spending our tax payer dollars like a teenage girl with daddy's credit card.. and the republicans need to stop using these types of issues as bargaining or blackmail opportunities.
Maybe a default, and the catastrophic consequences that follow, would be good for this country? 1) Is there hope that the average American voter will smarten up and kick out the same old career politicians? 2) Or would these same dumbass people just keep voting for the same people over and over while blaming the other side for the problems?
