Battery Equalizer PLC-10 with display from Mazava (Unboxing)

I purchased 6 new units from Alibaba.
They listed a 2020 improved version.
They are performing well.
I will post an update if that changes.

does the background lighting stay on
it is on several secs after pressing a button. Then off.
they have been running over 2 years without any issues
Do you know how they balance between 2 units in 48V system? The upper terminals for paralleling the balancers are galvanically isolated from the terminals connected to the batteries. How do they balance all 4 batteries? In the description it is described as active balancer, but I am not sure it transfers energy between the units.

I measured output on the upper terminals, there is about 5-7 V of AC voltage with 5.8 kHz frequency. What is that for? Is it just signal or this can be used for energy transfer between batteries?

Does anybody know the working principle of this balancer?

Hi, I have a (non-solar powered) 6kW split-phase inverter used for power outages, only recharged by the mains power.
My battery setup is 6 x 100Ah AGM (2s3p) (24V) with 4/0 cables going parallel in between each pair of batteries and only 3 short 4/0 cables connecting each battery in the series so the center taps are independent for each of the 3 pairs.

I'm thinking of replacing the 4/0 cables on each side with copper bus bars directly connecting the [+] and [-] battery terminals and adding battery balancer(s). If I connect each side of the center taps with a parallel bus bar (and keep the series connection with the 3 short 4/0 cables connected to the two bus bars in the center), can I connect just one PLC-10 to balance each side of the series (300Ah on each side) or should I leave the center taps independent and connect 3 PLC-10, one for each pair?

Sorry if I ask stupid questions, I am learning quick. :)
P.S. If my explanation is not clear enough, I can make drawings and add them. I tried to be as clear as possible.
