Please advise me on expanding my system

One tech at Sig Solar did tell me to run 10 of the Canadian Solar 370s in series. That would give me 333V/9.6A but only 3196.8W. I've seen over 3500W running the 6s2p configuration I have now.

Please advise me on expanding my system

Sig Solar advised that configuration with the 6000EX. I like the idea of leaving that one alone cause I built a ground mount for those panels specifically. I think they produce more power on one mppt, leaving the other three mppts available.

Please advise me on expanding my system

I currently have one string of Canadian Solar panels (2-6 panel wired in series paralleled together and running to one mppt on the 6000XP). As I was waiting for a reply I ran across a video touting REC panels as better than Aptos. The REC 370 panel at Sig Solar runs 47.8V, so I could do 3...

Please advise me on expanding my system

Hello solar dudes, I ended up with two EG4 6000XPs now and want to add 3 strings to utilize the extra capacity. Sig Solar set me up one year ago with an EG4 6000EX (which I upgraded to the XP and am loving it), 3 EG4 48V 100AH batteries, and 12 Canadian Solar 320 panels which I have set up...

Is the Eg4 Lifepower4 battery worth the low price

I have one EG4LL v.1 and two Lifepower4 batteries. I just received the auto-update tool from SigSolar (free of charge thank you!) and need to know if it will update the firmware on the EG4LL v.1 as well as on the Lifepower4 batteries. Also, it sounds like the communications hub is well worth...

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

I understand. I did that and the other values did not turn to percentages, they remained voltage values. Probably a glitch in the original firmware. That is, unless I misunderstood how to apply the change. I pressed the menu button for 3 seconds to enter the setting menu, selected 14 and...

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

the settings Sig Solar tech had me input: 14 use 17 56.0v 18 56.0v 19 45.0v 20 46v 21 54v 22 I-EP 23 LON I tried setting 14 to EG4 and then letting the menu return to see if the following inputs would turn to percentages but they did not

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

I tried inputing your settings but options 19,20,21,30 and 31 would not allow a % setting. They showed voltage settings instead. I suppose I may need to update the firmware to use your settings...

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

I wish I had your settings. that would have saved me $1700. I guess there is a one or two wekk lead time on the 6000XP from CC. Is there anyway you could send me the settings on your 6000EX? I would probably have to update the firmware too. That makes me a little nervous.

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

I asked the SS tech to help with the settings and he rattled some off to me, which I put in the inverter and trusted that I could leave it turned on overnight and it would stop drawing from the batteries when the SOC of the batteries reached a low point. When I got up the next morning two of the...

    EG6000EX vs 6000XP

I am hoping that Current Connected is better than Signature Solar. I just ordered a 6000XP from CC after viewing Will Prowse's review and recommendation even though it cost me more than from SS. The CC sales rep told me that they would help me get things set up correctly. I built my system...
