I have the MPTSolar LV2424 MSD and the RFI is terrible. Noise is coming from everywhere and is extreme when solar is charging. Has anyone had good success with mitigation efforts?

If you're a ham radio operator or just curious about RFI with this device, it's absolutely horrendous when charging the batteries on AC grid power with the solar panel wires connected. It gets worse when charging thru the panels. It doesn't appeared to be a FCC certified device.

Changing the Battery cut-off voltage in WatchPower causes the same thing for me, it shows the battery capacity % much lower. The higher the voltage, the lower the % that appears. Mine is set at 21.0 VDC and battery voltage at 26.5v showing 98% with no load. I have the LV2424 MSD and trying...

Nice project you have there Sam. I am doing much the same thing to power my observatory. What is your panel tilt and did you go with 24v?

This is exactly what I am doing and why I signed up here. :D I have an outdoor shed/observatory where I plan to house the batteries and inverter in a 4x8 warm room. Still in the planning stages but this is a big concern.
