Your Honda is easily convertible to dual-fuel, you know. I like propane as a fuel, but when I boondock, I need it to run my fridge and heater and for cooking. Propane also has a lot less energy, and has a larger power loss at higher altitudes.

Interesting. Jeeps are a premium priced conveyance. Some will say they are vastly over priced. Why buy a jeep when there are other, lower priced alternatives? Most of the RV'ers and Jeep folks I know vastly prefer Honda's over the China stuff. Honda's have always been the most reliable of all...

If you want long life, reliability, and quiet, just buy the Honda.

The Bluetti AC180 goes on initial sale tomorrow, for $799. 1800 watt inverter, but only 1152wh battery. But it weighs 35lbs, so a very handy weight. I can see this being very useful for camping and around my farm for remote power tools.

I had one of those units in an Aliner A-frame camper I had. It was worthless for cooling. It simply didn't work. I tried everything, changed the vents, added hose for additional vent's etc. In a word, these suck!

I have a portable A/C I use to cool a 250sqFt room at my cabin when it's really hot. It was like ~$260. All of my windows are casement in that room. It works quite well to cool things off.

In western nebraska/South Dakota/eastern Wyo, Waterfowl hunters use exactly that to keep water open on a pond in the most severe conditions. There are ready made rigs to bubble or even floating circulating pumps. Gotta be the best solution to this problem.

No problems with mine in UPS mode. 1 month now. If I put it in "silent mode", there is only a slight warming on the top, fan does not run. I has been a good little unit for me. Too bad you got a bad one.

In theory, the BMS should take care of the balancing. If it's a sealed case, that would be the only way. One cycle down to 0 shouldn't seriously damage the battery, the BMS should have a low voltage cutoff anyways. it sounds like you have something else going on. Is the battery covered by warranty?

Something seems amiss here, the boost voltage for my two stand alone lifepo4 chargers is 14.4 and 14.6 respectively. Are you able to charge with a dedicated charger?

Thank you. I have had mine since march. As I said earlier, I haven't had any issues yet. Yep, I have noticed the rather short range for the bluetooth.

Yes, I am using LiFePo4 batteries, SOK 100aH and a Rebel 50aH, for separate applications. Here are my user settings so far. Note: screenshot is from the bluetooth app for the HQST 40A charge controller.

I bet you get it sooner. I use my eb70 lots camping, the inverter has enough power to run my single serve coffee maker, and I also use it to run a compressor DC fridge. I'm just saying the EB70 has been a good unit for me, and the $269 for the renewed sounds good.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I have had the (EB70) non-renewed version for almost a year, and I have no complaints. I paid I think $400.

Be advised that I have found that at least on my 2022 Aliner, the zamp connector's polarity is REVERSED from standard SAE. Sneaky move on zamp's part to force you to use their way more expensive solar panels. You can buy an adapter for like 2 bucks to fix it.
