I want to disconnect a solar panel but fear that it will be damaged from the electricity accumulation during sunlight exposure. So I use a manual transfer switch (MTS) to redirect the panel's positive terminal to earth instead. Is this correct? Or should I ALWAYS ground the positive terminal...
