I have nearly an identical set up and have the same question - do we need to (or is it wise to) disconnect from the solar controller when using the AC charger? Thank you!

I am using 2/0 wiring between batteries as well as to the inverter.

My mistake - the inverter I am using is a 2000 watt unit. I will get Will's book, I am sure it will be worth every penny!
