I have 20 400w (8kw) CS1U panels. vmp 44.1 imp 9.08 MPP1 is 6S east facing (2.4kw) which regularly hits 90% or higher I have even seen it hits 2.5kw a few times. MPP2 is 7S2P (5.6kw) south facing which never gets more than 80% and I can't figure out why.

I used both. Although I'm not sure if you mean using HA directly. I'm using SA with MQTT to HA so I can do automations like turning on my solar water heater backup switch when my batteries are full and there is excess solar.

Would be awesome if they added support for solar charge controllers. They added support for the Victron smart shunt so I don't see why they can't do the same with the Victron SCC and others.

I have a DEYE inverter and it works perfect with the Seplos BMS via CAN.

I’m currently using solarassistant.io and it integrates well with HA via MQTT.

No but I'm using an active balancer and the cells are almost perfectly balance. I've read thought the BMS document a few times and just can't figure it out. How does the BMS know's when the battery is fully charged? Is it using the amount of Amp Hours going in and out?

It does throttle to 10amps when a cell hits the voltage alarm but it doesn't stop charging until that cell it hits high voltage disconnect. My issue with this is that the BMS will disable charging and switch to discharge as a results of the over voltage protect which also means the battery won't...
