    Checked the voltage on all 72 panels. 29 of them are around 28v, the rest are 40v-42v. Partly cloudy day. New clamp meter is coming today, so I will short them and test the amperage tomorrow. These panels have 3 junction boxes on the back. Are there diodes in all 3, or just the center one?

    I need a new meter HD and Lowes are nearby, So my options are Klein CL800, CL700, CL445, CL390. Or Fluke 323-LW Old meter got used on a fence charger, replaced the fuses, still doesn't work, so something other than the fuses fried!

    I would have had to up size my wire to #6 to keep the voltage drop down. #8 was getting to close to 3% V loss for my liking. Unless I'm mistaken, sol-ark 12k pv inputs limit you to #10 wire.

    Thanks, I did the math for my latitude, taking into account the angle of the sun during the winter solstice. My only concern is shading from those trees to the west and the best way to string the panels.
