I would suppose you have the latest firmware update in the new unit. Since you just purchased. I have only been able to "clear" the fault by powering down the unit...pv and bats. If you dont mind the question, what is your PV arrangement? I will call sig Solar this week to chat about this issue.

What i received from Sig Sol is attached. I have not installed it as of yet. It includes instructional mpeg for install.

I am never up early enough to put an eye on my panel input voltage. Only suspect that in the lower 30s it would be cranking out the watts. Will keep you posted on what i find.

You might be right. I did reset the PVtype from Ground to Home and it began to work. I was using ShinePhone with a lot of luck. Then I think they pushed out a new version and it all quit working, hence why I am looking for another means to monitor.

Did I just smoke my Overkill BMS? I had 2 side by side 8s 120A Overkill BMS's. Had some weird voltage on one of my cells. Wanted to confirm it, so plugged the balance lead from one BMS into the other. Now the BMS shows no voltage on any cell or for the 24v bank. Is it dead? or can it be reset?

Kind of new to this. But I did see there was the option for switch install that would disable the BMS. At least on the model I purchased. Not sure if it helps.

Ordered 8s 24v a week ago and they showed up today. All at 3.26V. Had tags to indicate what I believed to mean they were from similar matched group. All parts included with one extra bus bar. Very happy thus far.
