My lead acids were cheap, but a brand new 2V cell replacement is $20,000. Plus you’d have to front all that money to hopefully get the rebate.

It’s DC capacity. Nothing with AC. My interconnection was all AC capacity. I fought with them because I thought that application would transfer over to the rebate side but it doesn’t. It’s strictly DC.

I would guess money. If you can get a 5 MW battery go for it!

    Deye USA

Nothing in the terms and conditions about that. It’s battery capacity size in DC.

This is half of them. The other half are on the pallets under the cardboard. I’m building another pole barn after this.

From the grid, or solar. It shouldn’t ever really get discharged too much that I’d honestly worry about it.

    Deye USA

Yes it’s $300 per kWh. They are lead acid batteries. If I get a check for $250,000 it would be impossible for me to loose money from net metering down the road. I was told that I would go to hourly pricing net metering too. I’m guessing it’s like net metering but banks money vs kws.

It’s not federal. Well it might be federally backed, not sure. It’s through the utility. I have ComEd. Ameren has the rebate too. It’s called DG Rider rebate.

No, it’s residential. Their battery max cap is like 5 MW. I work at a nuclear power plant and got the old batteries we were replacing for preventative maintenance. My battery bank is around 830 kw. I would have never of made it that big if it wasn’t for this rebate they’re offering.

I used the specs for interconnection and it worked because they had no idea what they were looking at. I’m now applying for a battery rebate which would pay me like $250,000 so I was thinking of just putting the deye on the application so everything is out there.

Illinois. I know we use/refer to the California list but I don't think it is a catch all though. My batteries are not on that list, and they got approved.

    Deye USA

I just need approval because I am trying to get a battery storage credit check from my utility. If it's not approved, I will buy Sol-arks. I'd rather have Deye inverters because that is what I currently have hooked up and all my wiring is sized for. I guess my question is, is the UL 1741 the...

    Deye USA

Has anyone successfully had their power utility approve Deye hybrid inverters to be interconnected to the grid in the USA? I see that the inverters are UL 1741 certified. And before anyone asks.....Yes, I know sol-ark has a strong arm on the market. Yes, I can get Deye inverters.

WTB 2 8kw split is phase deye inverters

Yes I know we can’t buy them from Deye. Hell, I couldn’t even buy them from Deye 2-3 years ago, had to go through a 2nd hand seller. Just seeing if anyone has some they’d sell here in the states.

WTB 2 8kw split is phase deye inverters

I am from Illinois and I’m looking to purchase 2 8kw deye split phase inverters to go along with the 2 I already have.

Rosen Solar from Alibaba, anyone have experience?

I bought 2 inverters. I am wanting to buy 2 more along with a bunch of the Rosen powerwalls. My contact from there told me the price for the inverters are now $3100 vs $2050. I also can’t find anyone around my area (Chicago) to hook any of it up.

Rosen Solar from Alibaba, anyone have experience?

I bought 2 Deyes from Rosen solar. They’re sitting in my barn. I should have them hooked up in the next couple of weeks I hope.

Rosen Solar from Alibaba, anyone have experience?

I ordered 2 8 kw Deye’s as well. They shipped about 3 weeks ago. Talking to the customs agent in Chicago, I’ll get hit with around a 25% import fee plus a couple hundred dollar fees along the way too. Still cheaper than 2 sol-arks though.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

Yes, that’s probably what I should have done.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

Deye won’t sell to you though. Once they find out you’re from the US, they refer you to Sol-ark.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

I was told by a supplier that alibaba controls the advertising price. I wasn’t too happy either once they told me how much it really is. But then again, it’s still cheaper than what you can buy here in the US.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

The ones I got were the big 2V 2000 amp hour lead acid batteries. I took 116 of them so I’m not sure what the hell I’ll do with all of them. They weigh 330 pounds a piece and are a sob to move around my pole barn.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

Yes, I talked to them through alibaba. They advertise a cheap price then tell you the real price, which is still way cheaper than solark. They know I’m in the US, and gave me the correct US model.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

It’s a split phase. It’s the us model. If you look at the model number it has us at the end.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

    I ordered 2 deye 8kw hybrids. I’ll keep you posted if/when I receive them.

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

Have you ever bought anything from them? I found Rosen solar through that page. Page list a price for an 8kw hybrid for $800, then they tell you it’s $2050 and the $800 Is to just get you interested. Anyways, Rosen sent me an invoice and it’s paid by direct deposit to them. I’m just wanting to...

    Looking for a sunsynk inverter

I currently have 2 solar array grid tied systems. First one is a 14.32 kw system and the 2nd is a 7.92 kw system. I just purchased 115 2V 2000 amp hr batteries from my work (nuclear power plant) that were changed out for preventative maintenance. We hardly ever (maybe once a year) discharge...
