I can get over the display and the screen issues but the 8a limit to the solar is a deal breaker. No mention of that in anything I could find until the teal ones started showing up.
I emailed sales and tech yesterday to cancel. 2nd time. No response and then this morning got shipping label was created. It stated in sale and shipping was 4/30/21. Guess that didn’t pan out for them to ship when they said. Almost a week later. A couple more poor reviews have popped up on...
I have a few 24v panels and just last week bought a few buck converts but have no ideal where I’m at with them at this point. I’d greatly appreciate is your had any more information on implementing that solution.
Order a Bluetti EB70 yesterday on the hype and it looks like it will fit my power needs well. It’s for a small horse trailer food/bar setup. Small 110v fridge and 12v lights and chargers. This is my 1st solar generator and my 1st dive into anything solar or battery.
My question is i would like...
Or this? Am I barking up the wrong tree here. Thanks for any help.
Anmbest Constant Current CC CV Buck Converter Module DC 6-40V to 1.2-36V 20A 300W Adjustable Step Down Voltage Regulator Power Supply Module with Short Circuit Protection Function...
Eh?
Would something like this work?
Adjustable Voltage Regulator, DROK DC to DC 5.3V-32V to 1.2V-32V 12V Power Supply Module, 12A LCD Step Down Volt Transformer 160W CC CV Buck Converter Reducer...
Here is a panel and an generator example very close but the panel looks too much for this solar generator it’s the bluetti 50s
(Hobo on YouTube over powered and the machine shut down at 45v)
Ok thanks. Not a secret just haven’t pulled the trigger yet on one. Most of the sub 100ah models only handle 200w except for the Delta which takes 400w. Thanks though. I wasn’t sure.
Is there a way (or is it safe) to use a single panel that produces more watts then the documented limit on a power generator? ie the system is rated for 200w solar input but the panel is say 250w. do these machines throttle the extra watts?
.... same question for amps.
It’s crenova?? Not the best. I have a couple older ones I’ll try as well. See if they match up. Have a Klein clamp meter coming this week.
I opened up the port covers on the back, or tried to and they are super high quality filled with silicone. I can see the wires are soldered to a small...
Yes I has it angled directly toward the sun. Buuutttt, I did still have the small corner protectors of it. I’ll take those off and check again tomorrow.
do I need to short circuit the panel by connecting the pos/neg and then test again?
Just used a multimeter off the poss/neg and set the meter to read dc volts and then amps. Did I mess something up here? Still new to this. Thanks for the quick response.
Panel looks new. Has no cosmetic damage and still has the corners on it. I did notice that one corner of the aluminum frame is open a bit but doesn’t look like it affects anything.
Sicker on back of panel says:
Make: (no brand name)
Model #: SSB-320-126
Max Power: 320w
