My off-grid inverter is taking continuously a lot of power from grid even if solar power is enough for the loads

Hi mopat, I agree with you, it should be. If the loads of my house is less than 1,5kW, then I observe that the grid is only providing power of what is needed (the input AC is going to output AC in the inverter of course), and no power from solar is taken (even if the sun is bright and well...

My off-grid inverter is taking continuously a lot of power from grid even if solar power is enough for the loads

Ok not clear I confess. The mpp solar PIPMAX8048 is considered as an "off-grid" inverter. But you can put the grid in AC input if you want (or if you need) :-) I'll change the title of my post, but the problem remains. Thanks for your help.

My off-grid inverter is taking continuously a lot of power from grid even if solar power is enough for the loads

Hi, don't know if I missed something important (or obvious), but I'd like to know why my mpp solar PIPMAX8048 inverter in normal operation (long time) is taking approx. 1,5W from the grid to power the loads, even if solar power is (largely) enough to provide that demand (whenever battery is...

MPPSolar PIP-2430GK USBmicrocable to Laptop? Bleep, not reconized??

Hi, same trouble at first sight with my PIPMAX8048, but I succeeded only with a female USB/DB9-RS232 adaptator (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00IDSM6BW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and plugged into the DB9-RS232 cable provided by MPP Solar (which is connected with a plug...
