I have an old solar thermal system to refurbish, one that used the old sunspool draindown valve HG-SPOOL for freeze protection. The sunspool is dead (been dead maybe 15 years :-) I'm writing to see if anyone is using the KC4500-00 Vernatherm Freeze Protection Valves, and how it's working out...
