I would say that would work. Personally I would size the inverter breakers at 50 amps each, but that is just me.

63 amps is just the breaker size they recommend. The output is 10000 watts, that is 5000 watts per hot leg, l1 5000, l2 5000, that equals 10000, or approx 42 amps at 240 volts. So they are taking 42 amps times 150% that equals 63 amps.

Don't suggest breakers or you will need a 80 circuit panel to put them in...

Nope no cables yet, ordered them last monday night, prime shipping to be here on Friday, after purchase it switched to around May 1st for delivery. They never shipped them till this monday. I should have them in the next few days.

I believe you are correct, they can be programmed and wired both ways. Both diagrams are in the instructions.

We are discussing how to tie these in to a panel. I would skip the polaris and lug splitter stuff and just back feed a panel with breakers from each inverter (with proper breaker holders of course). This gives you more options for protection, and more places to disconnect and service stuff. Just...

Why wouldn't you guys backfeed breakers in a panel? That gives you output protection on the inverter.

Aa far as the hots (l1, l2) yes correct. Not sure on your neutral bond point in 100 amp panel. That depends on if bond is already made in inverters. Your drawing is probably correct though.

Or could you put both units in split phase output, and then feed a 200 amp panel with a 60 amp 2 pole breaker from each inverter?

Better yet is a thermal imaging camera, such as a flir, or many other brands out there.

Did you try rs485 to usb? SA said I should try that first, they sounded pretty sure it would work.

I had rj45 to rs232 cables, and then plugged rs232 to usb cables into to do rs485 to usb, lol. It did not work, and usb would not work either. I have rs485 to usb cables on the way. SA said it should work as they thought is was a srne made inverter, but did not know for sure.

You guys are babies. AL wire is just fine if you know how to install it. Most AL wire today does not even need a de ox added. I still do it, but it is not required.
