Yes. I knew the inverters switch over in case of power failure but not sure about switching over to battery when mains are available. I'll call solar edge.

Thanks for your reply. Answering your questions. The inverters are: Solar edge store edge 6kw single phase inverters. Model # is SE6000 AUS20NNB2. I'm not sure how they will be configured. I think the solar installers will have provision for the batteries to be charged off mains if needed...
